Community Projects

In the six years it has taken to complete the construction of Kyaninga Lodge, countless members of the surrounding populations have been involved with the project. Now that the Lodge is complete, its involvement with local communities will not end. The friendly staff you meet at the lodge is drawn almost entirely from the local villages in the surrounding area.

In addition, many of the workers involved with the construction of the lodge have been retained as staff for Kyaninga Homes, a company set up to build bespoke log cabins and the fine hardwood furniture you see around the lodge. With indigenous tree planting schemes already well under way, and education ventures to benefit the children of the local communities, Kyaninga Lodge takes its responsibilities as an employer and a developer of the local community very seriously indeed.
